Privacy Policy

We have established this privacy policy as a statement of our commitment to the confidentiality of the information that you provide to us.

When you register with our panel, we request information that enables us to contact you in the future. Your e-mail address will permit us to advise you whenever a new survey will be taking place, to update your profile, to forward you information regarding the panel, and, most important, to contact prize winners from each survey. Should you at any time wish to terminate your panel membership, you are free to do so.

When you register with our panel, requested information regarding your demographic and media profile will be used for statistical and comparison purposes ONLY. This information will never be sold or released on an individual basis. Similarly, your e-mail address will NEVER be shared, given or sold to any third party.

ATTENTION: The contents of the preceding paragraph are not applicable to the canada.com database. In fact, when completing your profile, you will be asked whether you wish to receive partnered offers from canada.com. If you agree, your e-mail address will be provided to canada.com, who will then be able to send you special offers from their partners via your e-mail address.

All information obtained through our panel will be used solely for the purpose of research. You will never be invited to participate in marketing or promotional activities as a result of being a member of Impact Research's Internet Panel.

Our "cookies" are used to manage the administration and on-screen presentation of questionnaires while you are responding to them. They enable us to ensure that an individual can reply only once to any given questionnaire. The cookie also allows us to identify panel members' computers that have been exposed to certain ads or that have visited certain of our clients' websites. It is through analyzing the activities of this group of computers that we are able to estimate the general profile of visitors to a site, or the general profile of individuals having been exposed to an ad. Individual information will therefore never be used, shared, given, or sold. The group of computers identified by the cookie could be invited to participate in a survey.

This site contains security features which protect information contained within against damage or attack, and access is password-protected.
